Allen V. • 9月 26, 2018Beautiful house and very informative tour. I had never read the book or watched the film so it was all new to me. No picture taking is a bummer but don’t let that deter you.
Daniel F. • 7月 27, 2017The tour on the Steam Locomotive is a nice experience. Make sure you get the tours, they are very insightful.
Anita B. • 8月 29, 2013Our guide was very knowledgable and hospitable. It was interesting to learn about the tie between the Low family and Robert E Lee.
Twinkle D. • 8月 9, 2017The tour is nice and informative, the house was restored and they stuck to its original interior design and decor. stay if you want to know what life was like in early 1800s for middle class american!

Stacy B. • 11月 27, 2022Well curated museum about a small part of American history that’s easy to forget. Take the time to read and view the exhibits. If it’s open, have a drink at the bar at the end.
Jonathan S. • 2月 3, 2012Savannah’s first free public school, operating continuously from 1856 until 1974 except for its use as a Union hospital during the Civil War and as a Freedmen’s school during Reconstruction.
Matt K. • 9月 19, 2013Fantastic reuse of the historic buildings , great play areas for kids (big and little). Nice grass areas. Enter through the railway museum - who doesn't like a train!?!
Josh G. • 12月 5, 2017Smaller but excellent museum with spacious galleries and docents available to answer questions.
Sara R. • 5月 11, 2019Great place to get the general history of Savannah. They have two wonderful tours. One is the loyalist and liberty your and frogtown tour.
Jonathan S. • 4月 19, 2011Built in 1844 for Aaron Champion by architect Charles Cluskey. Notice the 3rd floor addition from 1895.
Ceci T. • 7月 11, 2016We loved this tour. It was very hot so I would recommend going not during summer. The tour we did was a little long but the cannon shots were really awesome!

Hannah L. • 9月 30, 2018I loved ALL of the art here. My favorite gallery was the tech area because it was so interactive. Overall worth a visit.
Jenifer M. • 2月 24, 2018You can truly appreciate this home even without being a fan of the author, but I have a suspicion you may read her work after seeing this home. Excellent tour guide! Informative tour! Only $6!
Rebecca K. • 8月 10, 2010A beautiful example of Gothic Revival Architecture. It's a must see when visiting Savannah. I would skip the tour though unless you get the student price because seeing inside just isn't worth $7.
